Me, reading GTN for the first time, biased for the Gideon POV narration: why everyone is so mean to Gideon why arent they befriending her when she is so cool???

I wish we still had clear electronics because 1) the aesthetic slaps so hard and 2) I hate how modern electronics feel like you’re supposed to think of them as one inalienable object that just Does The Thing and never think about what might be inside them. I want to see the electronic guts! I want to see how the circuit boards and batteries and wires combine to make the Thing!
(I shell swapped my switch so it’s Atomic Purple. I love being able to see inside the joycons, even if that meant having to shell swap the right joycon. people who’ve shell swapped right joycon know what I’m talking about.)
Hey, hot take, but if a company decides they no longer want to distribute a piece of media they own the rights to, then they should be legally required to sign the rights back over to the creator.
They shouldn't be allowed to just sit on the IP for the rest of time, especially if they have no intention of ever releasing it again.
